St Patricks Day Stay

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Heather’s Airbnb! She was super communicative and flexible from the beginning, and so thoughtful to leave us with a basket of st Patrick’s day goodies as we were in town for the parade. The home itself was exactly as pictured, extremely clean and beds were comfy after a long day. The back porch area overlooking the river was a nice place to wind down and to have our coffee in the morning. Such a great find and we will definitely be back!

Excellent Stay on the River

We had a fantastic stay at this New London property and would absolutely book again.

The river view was the star of the show — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. One of our favorite parts of the trip was being able to fish right from the bank. If you enjoy fishing, you’ll really appreciate the easy access and relaxing setting.

The home itself was very spacious with plenty of sleeping accommodations. It’s well-suited for couples, families, or even a small group getaway. Everything felt comfortable and laid out in a way that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time there.

This trip was a mix of a fishing getaway, some couples time away, and visiting family in the area — and the property worked perfectly for all of it.

The only minor drawback was the road on the way in, which was a bit bumpy, but it didn’t impact our stay in any meaningful way.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience. The setting, space, and river access made it memorable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A great way to spend our Honeymoon!

We stayed at this cabin for our honeymoon and it was so incredible to go out on the boat and be able to see all the wildlife and it was all so peaceful!

Sweet 16 Party!

I had a sweet 16 party at the John 7:38 River Retreat and it was a very nice place to stay with lots of room and space to have fun activities. Staying here was such a blessing to me and my friends and I would totally recommend this place for a nice family getaway for some fun summer activities.
